Your Role: As a registered dietitian, you will implement the nutrition care process to evaluate, diagnose, and provide nutritional interventions while monitoring patients' nutritional progress. You will adhere to the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics' Standards of Practice and Professional Performance, ensuring outstanding service and fostering respectful relationships.

Your Contributions to the Team:
  • Exemplifies AdventHealth's service standards through professional conduct.
  • Assessment: Conducts thorough nutrition-focused physical assessments, gathers data through interviews, and evaluates anthropometric status.
  • Diagnosis: Analyzes assessment data to identify nutrition-related risks and issues.
  • Intervention: Provides tailored nutrition recommendations, educational resources, and referrals to additional services.
  • Education and Counseling: Delivers culturally sensitive counseling and education to patients requiring nutritional management, utilizing evidence-based approaches.

Qualifications for Success:
Minimum Requirements:
• Active registered dietitian status with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
  • Current licensure in the practicing state.
  • Bachelor's degree in nutrition or a related field with a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience.
  • OR a Graduate degree in nutrition or a related field with at least 1 year of clinical experience.
