We are seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN to join our team at Stonecrest Medical Center in Tennessee. As a Labor and Delivery nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the birthing process.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to laboring patients, including administering medications and performing various medical procedures.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including midwives, CRNAs, and obstetricians, to ensure seamless care and support.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare team members to promote a positive and supportive environment.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Tennessee.
- ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications.
- Experience in Labor and Delivery or Women's Services.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Our Labor and Delivery unit is a 12-bed unit with a team-oriented environment. We use a laborist team model with 24/7 midwives and dedicated CRNAs and OBs on call. We strive to personalize each birth experience to our patients' desires and needs.
