Job Summary:

As a Respiratory Therapist in our NICU, you will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to newborns in Labor and Delivery. Your expertise will include patient assessments, critical care procedures, and equipment management. You will also be responsible for educating patients and families on respiratory care and management.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform patient assessments and critical care procedures
  • Manage and maintain respiratory care equipment
  • Provide patient and family education on respiratory care and management
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care

Qualifications:

Minimum Education: Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences

Minimum Experience: Previous working experience in neonatal respiratory care or successful completion of department-specific orientation

Minimum Licensure/Certification: Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care and licensed by the State Board of Medical Examiners

Additional Qualifications: Current certifications in BCLS, ACLS, and NRP
