About the Job:The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing, developing, and maintaining application programs and information systems for our clients. This includes gathering data, assessing user needs, and designing effective solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Cobol Programming: Proficiency in Cobol Batch and CICS Command Level programming languages is essential.
- Mainframe Operating System: Experience with z/OS operating system, including program library operations and management.
- Database Management: Knowledge of VSAM data management, including sort work disk management and temporary work disk management.
- Other Skills: Familiarity with IBM Assembler Language, REXX, Program dump analysis skills, JCL, DB2, IBM IDZ, CICS, Slickedit, MSOffice, AFCU Change Control Methodology/Systems, Data management, zDB2, SQL, Infoprint, AFP, VISIO, and MSProject.
Saxon Global offers a competitive salary, ranging from $90,000 to $120,000 per year, depending on experience. We also provide benefits, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
