Resident Care Program Manager

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking an experienced Resident Care Director to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing clinical policies and procedures to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to our residents.
About the Role:- Clinical Leadership: Provide strategic leadership for resident care, overseeing the nursing team and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care that meets regulatory standards.
- Medication Management: Develop and implement medication management programs to ensure resident safety and promote effective medication use.
- Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance: Track and analyze clinical quality data to identify areas for improvement, participate in quality assurance initiatives, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and board of nursing regulations.
- Financial Management: Manage the department budget, understand its impact on the community's bottom line, and submit monthly expenses and budget data in a timely manner.
- Training, Leadership, and Team Member Development: Partner with Regional Directors and Executive Directors to deliver training and self-study programs, onboard new RCD leaders, and develop working knowledge of state/provincial regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Current state license as a Registered Nurse (RN); LVN/LPN also considered.
- Minimum two years nursing experience; at least one year experience in home health, assisted living, or long-term care environment preferred.
- Experience in nursing management, including hiring, coaching, performance management, scheduling, and daily operations supervision.
The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They will also possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
