Key Responsibilities:
1. Assemble mechanical components, including sheet metal, machined parts, hardware, rivets, and other purchased mechanical elements into finished products.
2. Adhere to assembly instructions provided in written or electronic formats, such as Manufacturing Process Instructions (MPI), blueprints, and verbal directives.
3. Utilize a variety of hand tools for assembly tasks, including manual, electric, and pneumatic screwdrivers, wrenches, and riveters.
4. Organize work area, select appropriate tools for each task, and ensure the accurate logging of labor hours and part quantities in the Visual Manufacturing ERP system.
5. Review the completion of prior operations and communicate any discrepancies to the lead.
6. Handle and stack parts properly to prevent damage and maintain a clean workspace.
7. Engage in departmental meetings to identify operational barriers and suggest improvements regarding tools, fixtures, or methods.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in assembly work.
- Proficient in reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic.
- Capable of understanding moderately complex written and verbal instructions.
- Familiarity with basic hand, electric, and pneumatic tools required for specific tasks.
- Ability to follow written instructions accurately.
