Are you passionate about sports and working with youth? Do you have a knack for creating an exciting atmosphere and building strong relationships with your team?

We are seeking a Sports Instructor to join our team at the Hayward Area Recreation & Park District. As a Sports Instructor, you will be responsible for leading sports programming for youth ages 4 to 17 years old, ensuring safety and proper technique, and providing a high level of customer service to parents and participants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct sports programming for youth ages 4 to 17 years old
  • Ensure safety and proper technique of participants while in the program
  • Follow an age-appropriate sports curriculum for participants
  • Encourage skill development and self-confidence through progression of skills
  • Provide a high level of customer service to parents and participants
