We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team at Good Samaritan Society, where you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our patients and residents. Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for assessing clients/patients/residents and designing occupational therapy treatments to help them develop, maintain, and recover their ability to perform daily tasks. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support to individuals of all ages with varying diagnoses and disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate physical, cognitive, developmental, and psychosocial abilities of clients/patients/residents
- Develop realistic therapy goals and administer appropriate occupational therapy programs
- Provide education and training to clients/patients/residents and their families to enhance understanding and improve functional outcomes
- Document client's/patient's/resident's information for evaluation and establish therapeutic plans as needed
To be considered for this role, you must possess:
- A valid license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the state(s) of practice
- Certification through the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT), when applicable
- A strong commitment to delivering high-quality care in a Christian environment
