We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Walgreens. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our pharmacy operations.
Key Responsibilities- Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Operate pharmacy systems, including cash registers and inventory management software, to ensure accurate and efficient processing of prescriptions and other transactions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to company standards and regulations.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy practices and technologies.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; PTCB certification a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills and ability to accurately count and measure medications.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends.
