UNIT OVERVIEW: A 24-bed short-stay stabilization unit designed for patient care.

ROLE SUMMARY: As an integral member of the healthcare team, the Registered Nurse delivers safe, age-appropriate care and serves as a resource for patients and their families.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Formal education equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years of college)
  • Knowledge in a specialized field is required
  • Associate's degree or Diploma in Nursing is necessary
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse
  • Must hold a valid Registered Nurse license in Maryland
  • Certification in Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association is required
