Overview:

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and specific assignments, including repairing and maintaining equipment, cleaning and repairing fans, air conditioners, carts, etc.
  • General servicing of plumbing, heating, and air conditioning systems.
  • Assemble, move, and install furniture and fixtures.
  • Repair desks, file cabinets, chairs, and other furniture and fixtures.
  • Install and repair floor and wall coverings.
  • Handle materials on major repair or installation projects.
  • Assist with electrical work under minimal supervision, including performing electrical safety checks of equipment and testing generators and emergency equipment.
  • Receive shipments and deliver supplies.
  • Maintain adequate supply inventories of items such as filters, lamps, and janitorial supplies.
  • Empties trash, cleans restrooms, offices, vacuums/mops floors, dusts, washes inside window/door glass.
  • Replenishes supplies in restrooms and lounges, changes light bulbs, makes routine repairs to buildings and equipment.
  • Maintains clinic grounds, including mowing, watering, spraying, trash pickup, etc.
  • Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • May perform daily quality assurance testing of linear accelerators.
  • Monitors the heating and cooling systems.
  • May manufacture cerrobend blocks for the radiation department.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Trade school or vocational diploma preferred.
  • Minimum three to five years of maintenance experience.
  • State Maintenance Electrical License preferred.
