Dental Hygienist Position

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Part-Time Dental Hygienist to join our team at Glen Burnie Dental Care. As a key member of our patient care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional dental hygiene services to our patients.
Job SummaryThe ideal candidate will have a current dental hygienist license in Maryland and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene. You will be expected to have excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and dental patient screening and medical history documentation. CPR certification is also required.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality dental hygiene services to patients, including cleanings, exams, and patient education.
- Conduct thorough patient screenings and medical history documentation.
- Work collaboratively with our dental team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical skills and stay up-to-date on industry developments.
- Current dental hygienist license in Maryland.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene.
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and dental patient screening and medical history documentation.
- CPR certification.
- New graduates and seasoned hygienists are both welcome.
- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
- Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to meet the needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health.
- Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions periodically throughout the year.
