Your Role and Responsibilities:

In this position, you will assist with delegated patient care tasks under the supervision of a registered nurse. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing person-centered care with respect and sensitivity.
  • Supporting the care team in achieving daily goals for patients and families.
  • Delivering quality patient care, including comfort measures and hygiene.
  • Responding promptly to patient needs and call lights.
  • Reporting changes in patient status to the Registered Nurse.
  • Ensuring a safe environment for patients and associates.
  • Maintaining an organized and clean work environment.
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives and training for new staff.

Qualifications Needed:

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED (to be obtained within one year of hire).
  • State certification as a Nursing Assistant.
  • BLS Certification from the American Heart Association.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Six months of prior experience as a CNA.
  • Proficiency in English communication.
  • Previous experience in customer service.
  • Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Training.
