Job Summary

The L1 Electro-Mechanical Inspector is a critical role within our quality assurance team, responsible for performing mechanical and electrical inspections on a wide range of products and materials. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, technical knowledge, and ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct mechanical and electrical inspections of products and materials using various tools and equipment, including vision measuring systems, calipers, and electrical test equipment.
  • Read and interpret assembly and mechanical drawings to determine inspection requirements.
  • Identify and segregate defective units and materials.
  • Document inspection results in our quality assurance database.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve inspection-related issues.
Requirements
  • Technical school certification or associate's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of related inspection experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Working Conditions

The physical demands of this role include standing, walking, and using hands to operate equipment. The employee must be able to lift and move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
