Job Summary

This position serves as a registry-eligible sonographer in the echocardiography laboratory and at the cardiology satellite offices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform echocardiographic exams and have a basic knowledge of cardiac pathology/echo equipment.
  • Contribute to the efficient operation of the department and assist with other duties as assigned.
  • Comply with all policies and standards, including annual training and the UH Code of Conduct.
  • Maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for patients and adhere to UH policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Ability to learn and perform all aspects of an echocardiographic exam.
  • Basic knowledge of cardiac pathology/echo equipment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
