We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Compass Group, North America. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our customers and staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables in a responsible and environmentally friendly manner.
- Dust and damp mop floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Move equipment and furniture as needed to facilitate cleaning and maintenance.
- Clean assigned areas, including walls, windows, and other surfaces, to maintain a high level of cleanliness and sanitation.
- Strip, scrub, buff, and refinish floors as needed to maintain a high level of cleanliness and appearance.
- Shampoo carpets and upholstery to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor to ensure the maintenance of a clean and safe environment.
- Previous experience in custodial or facilities maintenance is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and supplies as needed.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
