Job SummaryWe are looking for a dedicated and compassionate RN to provide high-quality patient care in our Level 1 Trauma Center. As an Emergency Department Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing patients, developing individualized care plans, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Assess patients and develop individualized care plans
- Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest clinical practices and technologies
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of one year of Registered Nurse clinical experience in the acute care setting
- Previous Emergency Department experience is preferred
- A BSN from an accredited school of nursing
- Must be RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as an RN
- BLS from American Heart Association
- CEN/ACLS certification desired
- Proficient in English
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to display a caring demeanor toward others
- Proficient computer skills required
