Primary Care Nurse Position Overview

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients facing moderate to complex health challenges.
  • Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to create and revise individualized patient care strategies.
  • Oversee the management of complex patient cases and delegate responsibilities appropriately.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient care in accordance with established hospital protocols.
Qualifications:

  • Proficient in computer applications and healthcare information systems.
  • Strong skills in information literacy and management.
Educational Requirements:

  • Valid Registered Nursing License in Pennsylvania or New Jersey.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification is mandatory.
Professional Experience:

  • A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience is preferred.
  • Experience in pediatric nursing is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role is advantageous.
Licensure and Certifications:

  • BLS Certification is required.
  • Active RN License is essential.
  • Membership in a recognized Professional Nursing Organization is preferred.
Work Schedule:

  • Positions available across various locations.
  • Standard Monday to Friday schedule with a 12-week assignment.
  • Shifts include four days from 8:30 AM to 5 PM, and one day from 11:30 AM to 8 PM.
  • Rotation schedules will be communicated two weeks in advance.
