Certified Nursing Assistant Job Description

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with Interim HealthCare Staffing, you will have the opportunity to work in various facilities, meet new people, and gain experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and hygiene services to patients in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, rehabilitation centers, and hospitals.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, RNs, LPNs, and aides, to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Assist with daily needs, such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, eating, and nutritional intake.
  • Help with ambulation, transfers, and range of motion exercises.
  • Monitor patient vitals, measure intake/output, and document any changes.
  • Observe patient behavior and notify supervisors of any issues requiring a change in care, medication, or equipment.
Requirements:
  • Active Nursing Assistant Certification in Colorado.
  • CPR Certification (demonstration course required).
  • COVID-19 vaccination card.
  • Valid TB screening.
  • Proof of flu vaccination (optional).
  • Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations.
  • Compassionate nature, good communication skills, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
