Job Summary:
As a Cabana Server at Great Wolf Lodge, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests by taking food and beverage orders, serving food and beverages, and handling transactions in a friendly and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take food and beverage orders from guests and transmit them to the bar and kitchen staff.
- Serve food and beverages to guests, including accompaniments and condiments from service bars, as requested.
- Respond to additional patron requirements by inquiring of needs and observing the dining process.
- Maintain table settings by removing courses as completed, replenishing utensils, and refilling water glasses.
- Obtain revenues by totaling charges, issuing bills, accepting payment, and delivering bills and payment to the host person.
- Protect the establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies.
Requirements:
- Some High School education or equivalent.
- Basic mathematical skills as they apply to cash handling.
- Must be flexible regarding scheduling based on business demands, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screen.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous server experience.
- Prior experience with Point-of-Sale (POS) technology.
- Proven teamwork and a professional image that inspires trust and confidence.
Physical Requirements:
- Able to lift up to 15 lbs.
- Able to bend, stretch, and twist.
- Able to stand for long periods of time.
