Position Overview

The Wealth Management Officer will be tasked with establishing, overseeing, and nurturing comprehensive relationships with affluent private banking clientele. This role involves acquiring new clients by leveraging personal and professional networks while utilizing connections with influential entities. The officer will ensure exceptional service delivery to the bank's clientele. Collaborating with various internal departments, teams, and specialists is essential to enhance cross-selling opportunities. The position requires providing integrated financial advisory services, including banking, credit, asset management, and estate planning. The officer will work closely with branches and regional teams to identify and generate referrals.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities encompass, but are not limited to:
  • Actively cultivating internal and external networks to generate referrals and enhance visibility in the market.
  • Managing the retention and growth of existing client relationships through a strategic contact approach and ongoing assessment of their banking requirements.
  • Building, promoting, and maintaining a robust pipeline of opportunities to achieve all Private Banking objectives, including advisory, brokerage, and insurance services.
  • Proactively establishing new relationships through referrals from clients, influential centers, and internal collaborators.
  • Leading the client team in planning, execution, and regular reviews with clients to manage relationships effectively.
  • Ensuring a high level of personal interaction and open communication among clients and internal teams to foster a superior client experience.
  • Regularly updating clients on financial market conditions and necessary adjustments to their investment strategies.
  • Ensuring adherence to internal control procedures, departmental policies, and regulatory standards.
  • Demonstrating the ability to be a valuable and complementary team member, supporting team selling initiatives and cross-business line referral goals.
  • Providing financial guidance and insights to clients and potential clients regarding market trends and general banking developments.
  • Engaging in community and business events to enhance the bank's image as a vital community member and establish referral connections.
Qualifications

Essential Skills:
  • Extensive knowledge of financial products and technical expertise in delivering comprehensive investment solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a knack for drawing accurate conclusions.
  • Familiarity with various investment and financial planning tools.
  • Proven networking capabilities with prospective clients and influential centers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • In-depth understanding of International Banking markets.
Required Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in financial advisory services, showcasing the ability to cultivate and manage existing relationships and new business prospects.
  • Current possession of FINRA Series 7 and 66 or equivalent qualifications.
Preferred Experience:
  • Current State Insurance licenses for Life, Health, and Variable products.
