We are seeking a highly skilled Chemical Process Operator to join our team at W. R. Grace & Co. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various equipment and processes in our manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and maintain equipment such as mixers, crystallizers, pumps, dryers, centrifuges, ball mills, filters, cranes, heat exchangers, packaging equipment, calciners, boilers, kilns, and other plant equipment.
- Ensure the proper operation of processes and perform routine checks to maintain equipment and processing efficiency.
- Perform tasks such as making and breaking connections, cleaning or flushing process piping or hoses, and using necessary tools to accomplish these tasks.
- Operate power trucks if qualified and maintain required records.
- Observe and adhere to safety protocols and standards, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- High school diploma (or equivalent) required.
- 1-2 years of manufacturing experience in a similar industry or an Associate degree in Engineering Technology with a concentration in Chemical or Process Controls and a minimum overall grade point average of 3.0.
- Competitive wages with an annual starting salary of approximately $65,000.
