About the JobAs a Trailer Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance on our semi-trailers, including DOT inspections, brake replacements, and other repairs. You will also conduct thorough inspections to identify potential issues and keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed.
Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance on semi-trailers, including DOT inspections, replacement of brakes, shocks, slack adjusters, and all other trailer axle components;
- Conduct thorough inspections of our trailers to identify potential issues;
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed;
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times;
- Collaborate with other team members to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Proven experience as a Trailer Mechanic;
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing trailers;
- Strong knowledge of Semi-Trailers;
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment;
- Certification from a recognized technical school or vocational program is a plus.
