Salary and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this position is $$8,000-$10,000 per week, based on 40 hours of work per week. This amount may vary depending on individual circumstances.
Job DescriptionThis role involves providing high-quality respiratory care to patients in an adult critical care setting. Key responsibilities include assisting with intubations, managing ventilation, and performing bronchopulmonary hygiene and hyperinflation therapy. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable with airway management devices and suctioning.
Additional duties may include responding to rapid responses and emergency codes, performing CPR, and collecting sputum specimens. Strong communication skills are essential for collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
RequirementsTo be considered for this position, candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist, with a focus on critical care. Relevant certifications, such as BLS, ACLS, and NRP, are also required. Experience with Epic and Ventilator Management is highly valued.
Working ConditionsThis assignment is based in a hospital with 700 beds, where you will be working alongside a dynamic team of healthcare professionals. As a travel Respiratory Therapist, you will have the opportunity to gain new experiences, develop your skills, and make a positive impact on patient outcomes.
