Job Summary

The GIS Technician role at Planet Forward involves performing entry-level work within the Advanced Methane Detection discipline. This position requires basic knowledge of standards and procedures, as well as good communication skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for data maintenance and cleanup, working directly with a senior employee or supervisor for unique situations or exceptions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality check drive data
  • Run reports on completed drives
  • Maintain and update GIS data
  • Assist with ESRI Dashboard and Field Map development
  • Other non-essential duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Geographical Information Systems or a related field
  • Proficiency in ESRI software, including ArcGIS Desktop Pro and ArcGIS Online
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
