ROLE SUMMARY:
Trinity Health is seeking to recruit a

Registered Nurse (RN)

for our Orthopedic Joint Trauma Unit.

This specialized unit features 32 beds and is focused on managing higher acuity cases, typically involving complex trauma-related injuries, such as multi-extremity and compound fractures.


Self Scheduling:
Full Time. Three 12-hour shifts per week, 7am-7pm

This role may qualify for a sign-on and relocation assistance package based on location.

We are thrilled to unveil Trinity Health Virtual Connected CareTM—a groundbreaking team care model aimed at enhancing patient care while offering nurses and care partners new opportunities and support.

Locally based virtual RNs (vRNs) deliver 24/7 care and assist patients and their families, collaborating with bedside RNs and care partners to ensure exceptional care.

Virtual RNs (vRNs) provide onsite support around the clock through advanced technology.

Trinity Health Virtual Connected CareTM employs onsite virtual nurses (vRNs) to deliver expert-level assistance via technology.

These seasoned nurses interact directly with patients through an in-room TV monitor, allowing patients to connect with the care team at any time.

Bedside RNs and Care Partners can collaborate with experienced vRNs.


Trinity Health Virtual Connected CareTM offers mentoring and support for bedside nurses and care partners through the continuous assistance of the onsite virtual nurse.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


Delivers professional nursing care in partnership with members of the healthcare team in the ongoing assessment, planning, and treatment of patients and families.

Utilizes resources efficiently while promoting physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being.


In addition to providing direct nursing care, engages in a wide range of responsibilities including, but not limited to, delegation, assessment, care planning, and patient and family education.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A valid RN license is required.

Multistate licenses must establish residency with the Idaho Board of Nursing within 60 days from hire.

At the time of hire, Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required. (ACLS and/or PALS may be accepted in lieu of BLS)
