Position Summary

The Early Childhood Education Specialist acts as a subject matter expert and brand representative, both within the organization and in external engagements. This role is pivotal in supporting the entire customer journey, from initial engagement through implementation, by crafting and delivering content-rich sales presentations, developing tailored implementation and professional development strategies, providing training, and serving as a trusted advisor throughout pilot programs and initial rollouts. The position is essential in fostering relationships with clients, establishing Teaching Strategies as a credible authority in the market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor internal teams regarding Teaching Strategies' content and product expertise, enhancing employee knowledge and awareness of our standing in the Early Childhood sector.
    • Facilitate the onboarding process for new team members regarding our content and products.
    • Develop a continuous learning program for customer-facing teams and product developers.
    • Provide coaching on content and product expertise to internal teams.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Partner Success Teams to drive revenue growth and enhance the implementation of our solutions by:
    • Leading content-focused segments of sales presentations for all Teaching Strategies offerings.
    • Creating detailed, customized implementation and professional development plans for key accounts.
    • Consulting on specialized aspects of our content and the Early Childhood sector.
    • Conducting research on clients' goals, shared visions, concerns, and challenges to tailor presentations.
  • Assist Marketing and Content teams in producing customer-facing materials, such as pitch decks, social media content, marketing collateral, webinar scripts, and conference proposals.
  • Enhance Teaching Strategies' reputation as a thought leader by serving as a subject matter expert at conferences, contributing to blog posts, and participating in professional journals and communications.
  • Develop exemplary implementations of our solutions that can serve as models and success stories.
  • Demonstrate Teaching Strategies' commitment to program success in all interactions, from informal communications to national presentations.
Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in the Early Childhood sector is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Proven leadership experience in building and managing programs as an administrator or instructional coach is essential.
  • Experience in conducting adult learning training sessions is required.
  • In-depth knowledge of the entire suite of Teaching Strategies solutions is necessary.
  • Experience or strong transferable skills in sales and implementation are required.
  • Exceptional presentation skills, both in-person and via virtual platforms.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% nationally as needed.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
  • Ability to quickly learn new technology applications.
