We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Porter/Custodial to join our team at Big Y. As a key member of our facilities team, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe, clean, and attractive environment for our customers and employees.

• Clean and sanitize meat cutting areas, kitchens, and bakeries to ensure a high level of food safety and quality.
• Maintain proper department conditions and supplies, including racks, sales floors, bottle redemption areas, closets, and workstations.
• Operate equipment and machinery safely and efficiently to support store operations.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment breakdowns and ensure a smooth store operation.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in janitorial or maintenance roles preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
