Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lifestyle Director to join our team at Maplewood Brewster LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading, developing, and implementing activities, programs, and events that enhance the quality of life for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive activity program that meets the diverse needs and interests of our residents.
- Collaborate with the senior lifestyle directors and other department heads to ensure seamless execution of programs and events.
- Manage and supervise a team of lifestyle associates to ensure they are properly trained and equipped to deliver exceptional service.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to therapeutic recreation programming.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community agencies, organizations, and healthcare professionals to enhance our residents' experience.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in recreation, occupational therapy, gerontology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the recreation field with an adult population.
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- Basic typing skills and computer knowledge, including MS Word, Excel, Publisher, and Teams.
