Childcare Teacher Position

In His Care Early Education Program is seeking a qualified Childcare Teacher to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, making a positive impact on the lives of children and contributing to their growth and development.

Job Responsibilities
  • Child Development: Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the unique needs and abilities of each child, promoting cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
  • Activity Planning: Plan and execute activities that foster self-esteem, social skills, and exploration, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for children to learn and grow.
  • Communication: Maintain open communication with parents through regular updates and parent-teacher conferences, keeping them informed about their child's progress and well-being.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment, adhering to ODJFS licensing rules and regulations.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Associate Degree (AA) or higher in an approved related field, Active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential, or 2/4 year degree in early childhood or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1-year professional childcare experience in a daycare atmosphere.
  • Certifications: CPR and First Aid Certification, Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds, Sit for extended periods, and work indoors or outdoors.
Compensation and Benefits
