Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist

Aureus Medical Group - Imaging is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Dodge City, Kansas.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Ultrasound Technologist to perform a variety of ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, pelvic, OB, head, extremity, retroperitoneal, small parts, and vascular exams. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform ultrasound procedures, including preparing patients, positioning them, and obtaining high-quality images
  • Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient exams and procedures
  • Collaborate with other imaging personnel to ensure smooth patient flow and optimal use of equipment
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain a commitment to excellence in patient care
Requirements:
  • CPR/BLS certification
  • Current licensure as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
  • Experience with ultrasound equipment and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
