Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cardiac Care Unit team at Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas.
About the Role:
This 36-bed telemetry monitored nursing unit provides the opportunity to work with a wide variety of patients ranging in age from Adults to Geriatrics.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care to patients with a wide range of cardiac conditions, including myocardial infarction, coronary artery bypass, and congestive heart failure.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor and manage invasive hemodynamic monitoring, including pulmonary artery catheters and Swan-Ganz catheters.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current and valid nursing license.
- BLS certification or obtain within 30 days of starting in this role.
