We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team for the 2024-25 school year in Branson, MO.

Job Description

As a Special Education Teacher with ProCare Therapy, you will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to the unique needs of students with special abilities. You will work collaboratively with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and other school staff to ensure inclusive education practices.

You will also:

  • Adapt and modify curriculum materials and instructional strategies to meet students' learning requirements;
  • Monitor and assess student progress, maintaining accurate records and documentation;
  • Participate in IEP meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development sessions;
  • Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and achievement;
  • Utilize technology and other resources to enhance learning opportunities for students with disabilities;
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred);
  • A valid state teaching license with a certification in Special Education;
  • Previous experience working with students with special needs is highly desirable;
  • Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team;
