Job Summary

Alternate Solutions Health Network LLC is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team in Kansas City, Missouri.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive skilled services as ordered by the attending physician, including educating patients and their family members on proper use of equipment.
  • Assess functional problems and provide intervention to improve patient functional status, working closely with the occupational therapist to achieve goals.
  • Counsel patient and family on disease/injury management and instruct on proper use of equipment such as wheelchairs, braces, walkers, crutches, canes, and other prosthetic/orthotic devices.
  • Complete all clinical documentation following agency protocol and Medicare/Federal guidelines.
Requirements
  • Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) with current license in the state of employment.
  • Minimum one-year experience as a OTA in an acute care setting, with home care experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance in your name as a driver.
  • Capable of all physical demands.
