Job Summary:
The CAT Scan Technologist operates computerized Tomography equipment to make quality images of designated portions of the body under the direct order of a physician and in accordance with radiation safety procedures.
This position requires a high level of professionalism, efficiency, and safety in patient care. The successful candidate will have a strong background in radiology and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate computerized Tomography equipment to produce high-quality images of the body
- Work under the direct order of a physician and follow radiation safety procedures
- Provide patient care in a timely, professional, and efficient manner
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements:
- 1 year of clinical experience in radiology preferred
- Graduate of a radiologic technology program or computerized tomography program
- Registered Technologist in Radiography, Nuclear Medicine Technology, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Sonography, or Computed Tomography
Work Schedule:
Monday - Thursday, 8:30pm - 7am
Weekend and Call Requirements:
As needed
