Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team. As an Electrical Engineer at Howard Industries, you will be responsible for designing and developing industrial automation systems and transformer testing systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop control systems for industrial automation systems and transformer testing systems
  • Program industrial PCs using VB.Net and develop software for control systems
  • Work with Allen Bradley PLCs and develop software for control systems
  • Design and develop systems for industrial robots and servo positioning systems
  • Develop computer control systems for high voltage and high current switches and measurement devices
  • Develop systems for communication with and control of smart metering systems
  • Develop systems for interfacing with databases

Requirements

  • Strong programming skills in Microsoft VB.net or C++
  • Power systems concentration in school or power systems design experience
  • Control systems concentration in school or experience with production plant equipment and associated control systems
  • Knowledge or experience with motors and motor drives, servo systems, and PLCs
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
  • At least two years of experience
