Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Paint Line Laborer to join our team at Aerotek. As a Paint Line Laborer, you will assist in all areas of the shop, including cleaning and organizing parts and materials, performing physical operations to remove parts from the main sheet of metal, and operating metal fabricating/finishing equipment to cut, bend, form, and/or finish metal parts as specified by customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in cleaning and organizing parts and materials
  • Perform physical operations to remove parts from the main sheet of metal
  • Operate metal fabricating/finishing equipment to cut, bend, form, and/or finish metal parts
  • Fits and/or assembles, adjusts and repairs subassemblies and major assemblies
  • Records job activities, including counts, utilizing labor reporting system
  • Communicates with co-workers and supervisor to receive instructions and coordinate activities
  • Performs all job functions to meet acceptable quality and performance standards
  • Maintains accurate count of parts
  • Attaches labels or tags to processed material identifying customer, part number, quantity, and shop order information
Work Environment

The Paint Line Laborer will work in a machine shop environment, which may include dust, grease, and metal shavings. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required, including safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, and boots. The paint line is specifically warm, and the plant is not climate-controlled but has fans throughout.
