Job Title: Travel Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Travel Nurse to join our team at Healthcare Staffing Plus. As a Travel Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in various healthcare settings, providing high-quality patient care and developing your clinical skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide patient care efficiently and effectively through practice and communication with patients and other staff.
  • Assess patient condition, administer medication, change dressings, monitor vital signs, keep records, and provide patients with support and education.
  • Coordinate care plan for patients to ensure best outcomes.
  • Follow policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures.
  • Work independently under supervision to implement care goals for patients.
  • Competently assess the patient on a regular basis.
Qualifications:
  • BLS and ACLS certification.
  • Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
  • The ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Strong technical skills.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Passionate about patient care.
  • Requires a minimum of two years of current RN Med/Surg experience.
  • Graduate from a fully accredited RN program.
  • Active unencumbered RN Texas state license.
  • One year of Epic experience.
Requirements:
  • COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
  • Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
  • Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
  • Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
  • A can-do, team-oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
