Job OverviewState Brass Foundry is seeking a highly skilled Machinist to join our team. As a Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining a variety of machines and manufacturing equipment, ensuring high-quality products are produced in a timely manner. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining a safe and efficient work environment, collaborating with colleagues to achieve production goals, and adhering to industry standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional attention to detail, previous experience in a manufacturing environment, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities: - Operate and maintain complex machinery, including VTL's, HBM's, and Large Diameter Lathes, to produce high-quality products.
- Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve production goals, sharing knowledge and expertise to improve overall efficiency.
- Ensure a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to industry standards and regulations, and reporting any safety concerns or incidents.
- Previous experience as a Machinist in a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of machine operation and maintenance.
- Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to read blueprints and job orders accurately.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues efficiently.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and as part of a team to achieve production goals.
