Job Summary:

The Travel Surgical Technologist will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and assisting surgeons during surgical procedures. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in orthopedic, neuro, and robotic surgery, as well as excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist surgeons during surgical procedures, maintaining a safe and sterile environment
  • Prepare and maintain surgical equipment and supplies
  • Monitor and maintain patient vital signs and report any changes to the surgical team
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth and efficient surgical procedures
  • Participate in pre- and post-operative patient care, including preparing patients for surgery and assisting with post-operative recovery
Requirements:
  • BLS certification required; NCCT and NBSTSA certifications preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in surgical technology, with a focus on orthopedic, neuro, and robotic surgery
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
