Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Delivery Driver to join our team at Happier People Management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting food and beverage products to various locations safely and in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport food and beverage products to designated locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery.
  • Load and unload products from the delivery vehicle using appropriate equipment and techniques.
  • Verify the accuracy of delivery orders and obtain necessary signatures from customers upon delivery.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and customers to coordinate delivery routes and address any delivery-related issues.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating the delivery vehicle.
  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance and inspections to ensure the delivery vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle and report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Proven experience as a delivery driver or similar role.
  • Excellent driving skills and knowledge of safe driving practices.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in verifying delivery orders.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

The base pay range for this position is a salary range of $25.00-28.00 USD Hourly per year.
