Quick Lane Technician

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Quick Lane Technician to join our team at Dahl Automotive. As a Quick Lane Technician, you will be responsible for performing oil changes, tire rotations, and other light maintenance work on vehicles. You will also have the opportunity to grow and develop your skills, with a career path to the main shop for those interested.

Responsibilities:

• Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and other light maintenance on vehicles.
• Test to check systems and components are secure and working properly.
• Drive the vehicle for testing purposes and inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary.
• Ensure tire pressure for proper inflation, clean and lubricate fittings as needed.
• Install a new oil drain plug and new oil filter and communicate oil levels to teammates.
• Use power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to perform various tasks.

Qualifications:

• Understanding of automobiles.
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures, and specifications.
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
