Position Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Program Manager to ensure the effective implementation of a Department of Defense (DoD) engineering and technical support services contract within our Commercial Innovation Center. In this role, you will guide a team of commercial technology specialists to facilitate DoD innovation initiatives and collaborate with mission partner organizations. Your duties will encompass designing technical solutions, overseeing resource allocation, and managing contract-related activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily contract operations across various DoD research and development and innovation initiatives
  • Lead critical CIC DoD innovation projects
  • Engage directly with government stakeholders to convert mission objectives into practical solutions
  • Coordinate with other program sectors to pinpoint operational efficiencies
  • Guide and mentor technical team leaders and subcontractors
  • Perform additional responsibilities as required

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, business, or a related discipline
  • Over 10 years of experience in project or program management
  • At least 5 years of experience managing defense innovation programs
  • Familiarity with commercial satellite technologies and their defense applications
  • Proven ability to lead projects in a multidisciplinary environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's or Doctorate degree
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certifications
  • Experience in business operations within the commercial technology industry
  • Knowledge of R&D best practices in fields such as space systems, artificial intelligence/machine learning, and cybersecurity

Compensation

$180,000 - $220,000
