Join Our Team as a Licensed Veterinary Technician

At Animal Care of Ponte Vedra, we are a dedicated small animal practice with a team of four experienced veterinarians. We are committed to providing exceptional care to our community's pets while ensuring a stress-free environment for both our patients and their owners.

We utilize advanced technologies such as digital dental x-ray, cold laser therapy, surgical laser, and ultrasound to enhance our services. Our focus on continual education and self-improvement allows us to stay at the forefront of veterinary medicine.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in professional communication with clients, gathering medical histories and symptoms.
  • Perform laboratory procedures, including hematology, cytology, urinalysis, microbiology, blood chemistry, and fecal analysis.
  • Conduct diagnostic imaging while ensuring the safety of all staff members.
  • Utilize nursing skills, including patient restraint, medication administration (PO/IV/SUBQ/IM), bandage application and maintenance, IV catheter placement, venipuncture, surgical preparation, and anesthesia monitoring.
  • Execute proficient dental prophylaxis.

Position Requirements:

  • Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT) or the ability to transfer credentials.
  • Associate's degree in Veterinary Technology.

Job Type: Full-time

Compensation: $25.00 per hour
