Overview
Vail Resorts is seeking highly skilled and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Ski Instructors and Snowboard Instructors. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, delivering exceptional guest service and creating lifelong memories for our visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach group and private lessons to guests of all ages, with a focus on children
- Deliver world-class guest service, ensuring a safe and fun learning environment
- Support the snow sports school, including scanning, running surface lifts, facilitating lunch, and fitting equipment
- Provide guest feedback that inspires and creates lifelong skiers and riders
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must be comfortable and competent skiing and riding on groomed blue terrain
- Must be willing to work with guests of all ages and have a strong level of comfort with children aged 3 and older
- Must be able to communicate fluently in English
- Strong communication skills
- Must be willing to work weekends and holidays
- Must be comfortable being in ski boots for extended periods
- Placement as an instructor is contingent upon successfully completing training and meeting the minimum skill, guest service, and safety standards
