Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, develop individualized care plans, and implement evidence-based interventions to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and achieve excellence in patient care.
- Patient Safety and Quality: Adhere to hospital protocols, policies, and procedures to promote patient safety, prevent medical errors, and support quality improvement initiatives.
- Clinical Competency: Maintain up-to-date knowledge and skills in nursing practices, participate in continuing education, and adhere to unit-specific standards to ensure clinical excellence.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Licensure: Current licensure in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of State Bureau of Occupational and Professional Affairs.
- Experience: Varies based on department and position.
- Skills: Certified in B.L.S. for Healthcare Provider, excellent interpersonal and team building skills, ACLS within one year of hire, telemetry experience preferred, ventilator-experience preferred.
