As a local contract nurse RN Psychiatric, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis, and unit level. You will also supervise staff to which appropriate care is delegated.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' physical and emotional needs
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Provide direct clinical care to patients
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to staff
  • Ensure high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care

Requirements
  • Minimum education: Graduate of an accredited School of nursing
  • Preferred education: Academic degree in nursing (Bachelors or Master's degree)
  • Minimum experience: Must have 2 years of nursing experience with a minimum one year current experience in their nursing speciality in an Acute Care hospital setting
  • Required Certification/Licensure: Must be currently licensed, certified or registered to practice profession as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy. Must meet all certification requirements for each nursing specialty supported
