Job Summary

The Beverage Operations Supervisor is accountable for the daily management and operational efficiency of the bar. This role involves training, supervising, and scheduling front-of-house personnel while ensuring that guests receive exemplary service in accordance with company standards.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the bar area.
  • Lead a team of front-of-house staff, including scheduling and training initiatives.
  • Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of front-of-house personnel.
  • Guarantee high-quality service and guest satisfaction throughout all operational hours.
  • Ensure that all quoted seating times are honored and that the waitlist is managed effectively.
  • Monitor kitchen ticket times to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Maintain order and discipline within the establishment during operational hours.
  • Participate in management training sessions, including leadership and HR management training.
  • Execute opening and closing procedures to ensure cleanliness and maintenance are upheld at all times.
  • Handle daily financial deposits and ensure the proper functioning of POS systems.
  • Manage inventory and maintain par levels for front-of-house supplies as assigned.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to guests while providing strong leadership to all staff members.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of sales targets, cost of goods sold, labor allocations, budget variances, inventory counts, and other assigned reporting data.
  • Enforce and monitor all health, safety, and sanitation standards in line with company policies.
  • Address guest complaints following established guidelines as necessary.
  • Collaborate closely with all management team members, including the Executive Team, to ensure seamless operational service delivery.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, including specific responsibilities designated by the Assistant General Manager.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in restaurant management.
  • Proven positive attendance and work performance record.
  • Extensive knowledge of food and beverage operations.
  • Strong leadership, motivational, and communication skills.
  • Customer service experience in a managerial capacity.
  • Excellent decision-making abilities and time management skills.
  • Experience with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
  • Passion for the food and beverage industry.
  • Familiarity with restaurant safety and workplace policies.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including G-Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.).
  • Ability to influence and interact effectively with all organizational levels.
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with strong analytical and tactical execution skills.
  • Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing priorities with enthusiasm.
  • Ability to work extended hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Physical capability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs occasionally.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
  • High energy, positive attitude, and a sense of urgency.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize, multitask, and resolve issues effectively in a dynamic work environment.
  • Must be reliable and punctual.
  • Must demonstrate efficiency and accuracy in financial transactions.
  • Must successfully complete food safety training.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
