Senior Nurse Professional/Graduate Registered Nurse

We are seeking a Senior Nurse Professional/Graduate Registered Nurse to join our team at Trinity Health Of New England. This is an entry-level nursing position for new graduate nurses and individuals who are senior nursing students in their last semester at a Board-approved associates or baccalaureate nursing program.
Responsibilities:- Provides direct care to patients under the direct supervision of a licensed registered nurse, making necessary nursing judgments and consulting with the supervising RN to assess the health care needs of individuals or groups.
- Assists RN in administering medications or intravenous fluids to patients, coordinates care, and directs assistive personnel to provide safe, effective, efficient, equitable, and timely patient-centered care.
- Develops a collegial and collaborative relationship with other health professionals to determine healthcare needs of patients and families, and begins to demonstrate the ability to act as a patient advocate.
- Communicates effectively in the exchange of information, maintains and communicates trust and respect, and demonstrates a commitment to patients, colleagues, and Mercy Medical Center.
- Graduating/Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
- BLS certification required.
- Enrolled in their last semester or graduated from a board-approved associates or baccalaureate nursing program.
