EHS Specialist

Hyundai Transys Georgia Seating System, LLC is seeking an experienced EHS Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and promoting a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.

• Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Provide training and guidance to employees on EHS procedures and protocols.
• Investigate incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain EHS metrics and reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure EHS considerations are integrated into business decisions.
• Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and industry best practices to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

• 8+ years of experience in EHS, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership or management role.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or other relevant certifications.

• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with ADP and SAP preferred.
• Strong understanding of HRIS systems.

The EHS Specialist will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with regular interactions with employees, management, and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
